Probe committee formed against BRU recruitment fraud
BRU Correspondent :
Despite not being eligible to apply for the job as per the conditions, Assistant Professor of History and Archaeology Department at Begum Rokeya University (BRU) in Rangpur, Md. Yusuf is running around.
This teacher, who was once the joint general secretary of the pro-Awami League teachers’ organization Neel Dal, is now increasing his friendship with pro-BNP teachers in a roundabout way.
He has kept a section of Chhatra Dal in his hands by providing various financial benefits to save his job.
There are allegations that he has increased his friendship with pro-BNP teachers and Chhatra Dal and has blocked his own investigation.
The investigation committee formed to investigate the recruitment fraud allegations against him has not submitted its report even after 10 months.
This teacher’s certificate shows that he got a GPA of 3.50 in the SSC exam and 3.01 in the HSC. However, a search on the Ministry of Education website with his HSC roll and registration shows that he got 2.90. His grade in English is ‘D’. He also got a ‘C’ in Mathematics in the SSC.
This teacher is also seen with Chhatra Dal leaders Tuhin Rana and Rifat Rafi in various places in and outside the university.
