Independent Television’s Mazharul Islam Mithun has been named Sportsman of the Year in the Walton-DHAKA Reporters Unity (DRU) Sports Festival 2024 while Sajida Islam Parul of Daily Samkal became Sportswoman of the Year.
Both of them got seven points and were elected sports man of the year and sports woman of the year respectively.
The prize-distribution ceremony of the DRU sports Festival, organized by DRU, was held at DRU Nasrul Hamid Auditorium on Friday with Bangladesh Football Federation Vice -President Md Naser Shahriar Zahedi was the chief guest in the occasion and handed over the prizes.
