At the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah , Prime Bank Cricket Club defeated Shinepukur Cricket Club by 71 runs.
Batting first Prime Bank Cricket Club piled up 196 runs in 47 overs and then bundled out Shinepukur Cricket Club for 125 runs in the 41.5 overs.
Najmul Apu of Prime Bank Cricket Club top-scored with 40 runs.
Mukidul Islam of Shinepukur Cricket Club bagged four wickets at the cost of 42 runs.
Arafat Sunny of Shinepukur Cricket Club made 28 runs playing 56 deliveries.
Hasan Mahmud of Prime Bank Cricket Club captured four wickets in the space of 15 runs.
Reigning champions Dhaka Abahani Limited made an auspices start thrashing Partex Sporting Club by 171 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur.
Dhaka Abahani Limited scored a mammoth total of 268 runs for the loss of nine wickets riding on Sabbir Hossain’s 71 runs.
Later, Partex Sporting Club were shot out for 97 runs.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited defeated Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy by six wickets at the BKSP Ground.
Chasing Gazi Tyres 167 runs in the 47.5 overs, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited reached the winning target in 31.4 overs for the loss of four wickets scoring the victory total.
