DU Correspondent :The suspended recruitment test for the post of assistant teachers at the pre-primary section of government primary schools in 17 districts will now be held on April 18 (Friday).The written test will begin at 2:30pm on the day, said a PID handout on Wednesday.The districts are Dhaka, Rajbari, Mymensingh, Netrakona, Sherpur, Narayanganj, Cox’s Bazar, Rajshahi, Pabna, Lalmonirhat, Khulna, Satkhira, Jhenidah, Meherpur, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar and Habiganj.The candidates will be informed of the date of the test through message to their mobile phones. They can use their admit cards issued earlier for the rescheduled test.Sources at the Primary and Mass Education Ministry said the written test for recruiting the assistant teachers was held on November 8 last year with 968,127 candidates taking part in it.
