President joins Akheri Munajat from Bangabhaban

President Abdul Hamid joined the ‘Akheri Munajat’ (concluding prayers) of the first phase of three-day Bishwa Ijtema, the world congregation of the Muslims from Bangabhaban.
The President along with officials and staffs of Bangabhaban joined the prayer from Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban through big digital screens as the prayer was telecast live from Tongi. The first phase of the Muslims’ annual congregation – the second largest after Hajj ended on Sunday with millions of devotees from home and abroad taking part in the ‘Akheri Munajat’ at Tongi on the outskirts of capital Dhaka.
