President Inquires About Health of JI Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

The President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Sahabuddin, has personally taken an interest in the health of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, who is currently receiving treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka.

Under the President’s direction, his private secretary, Mohammad Sagor Hossain, visited the hospital to check on the Jamaat leader’s condition. The President also spoke by phone with Dr. Rahman’s younger brother, Fakhrul Islam, conveying his well wishes for a speedy recovery. Fakhrul Islam expressed the family’s gratitude for the President’s concern and outreach.
