Pre-Christmas was celebrated at Pirganj upazila under Thakurgaon district on the occasion of Jesus’ birthday on Saturday.
A rally and discussion meeting were held on this occasion organized by the Bangladesh Christian Association Pirganj Upazila branch. The discussion meeting held under the chairmanship of the Christian Association President Reverend Bishnupada Roy was addressed among by Upazila BNP General Secretary and former Upazila Chairman Ziaul Islam, Thana Officer-in-Charge Mazaharul Islam, Central Vice-President of Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Font Ranjit Roy, Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Babul Ahmed, General Secretary of District Communist Party Adv. Abu Sayem, Press Club President Joynal Abedin Babul, New Community Church Director Ananta Chakma, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President Moquaddes Hayat Milon, Christian Association General Secretary Reverend Monojit Roy.
