The Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the Laldia Container Terminal (LCT), showcasing Bangladesh’s capability to design and implement large-scale, globally competitive PPP projects with full government ownership and zero public debt.
A press release highlighted that this achievement establishes PPPA as a trusted institution adept at delivering complex infrastructure projects through transparent processes, adherence to international standards, and effective negotiation. Ashik Chowdhury, CEO of PPPA, said, “Laldia proves that Bangladesh’s PPP model works.
