BSS, Jessore :
A poultry trader was stabbed to death by some miscreants in Upashahar area in the district town last night.
The victim was identified as Sagor Hossen, 26, son of Mohon Hazra in Ghop-Beltala area of the town.
Enamul Haque, Officer-in-charge of Jessore Kotwali Model Thana said some miscreants stabbed Sagor with weapons while he was sitting with his friends in the area at around 8:30 pm. He received seriously injuries. Previous enmity might be the reason of his death.
Locals rescued him and admitted to Jessore Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
A case was filed with concerned police station in this connection.
