Entertainment Report :
Film actress Pori Moni has been accused of beating a domestic worker over feeding her one-year-old daughter.
Pinky Akter, the victim of the incident, filed a complaint with Bhatara Police Station in Dhaka last Thursday.
However, Pori Moni called the whole matter a lie and a conspiracy against her. The news about this was published in the media yesterday. And that is why this heroine is angry with the media.
Pori Moni went on Facebook Live at midnight on Friday and abused journalists by calling them ‘shit’, ‘dung’, and ‘ghosts.’
Pori Moni said, “I have been harassed a lot since Friday afternoon. Not just phone calls, I have been harassed in many ways. My name is complaint I have physically hurt my maid. She filed a general diary with my name at Bhatara police station. Since a complaint has been filed through the police station, it has gone through legal proceedings. Those who are media workers, couldn’t the media people wait a little? The mental torture they gave me, the way it worked, was publicised, and interviews were conducted. Does that mean he is not being given a privilege?… Anyone can make a complaint. But you will convict him before it is proven? Today, the entire media has reported me as guilty. As if it has been proven that I am guilty.”
A few days ago, there was news about Pori Moni writing the letter ‘S’ with henna on her hand. Then she called mass media workers ‘bulls’ on Facebook.
Now, on Facebook Live, Pori Moni again raised the issue and said, “Are you doing this because I called you ‘bulls’ because you write ‘S’ in my hand? So, you are proving that you are ‘bulls’.
You are really bulls, solid ‘bulls.’ You are ‘stool’, you are ‘dung’, you are ‘ghosts’.”
Even after going to jail, Pori Moni criticised various news reports about her.
She said, “During the days I was in jail, the news was only about me. What did Pori Moni eat today? Where did she sleep? Was she given a blanket, and what plate was she given food on? The news was being published in such a dirty way that
it created a sense of interest among the common people. It’s like a drama. This is my personal life. It can’t be a living movie.”
Regarding the house maid’s complaint, Pori Moni said that she has proof of everything. But out of respect for the law, she
is not revealing it now. She wants to trust the law.
But at the end, Pori Moni gets excited and says that she
will prove everything today.
