Actress Sadika Parvin Poppy’s last film, ‘Direct Attack’ received a censor clearance in 2021. Even after receiving clearance from the censor, it was not released in theatres.
This time, director Sadeq Siddiqui has given good news about the release of the movie. He confirmed to the media that the movie will be released in theaters on October 17.
Apart from Poppy-Amin Khan, Emon, Shirin Shila and others have also acted in various roles in the movie.
It is known that the movie was initially titled ‘Sahosi Joddha’. The director started shooting with that name.
Then the shooting of the last lot of the movie was completed amid Corona.
It is worth mentioning that Poppy became famous by becoming the champion of Lux-Ananda Bichitra’s beauty pageant.
She made her debut in films by acting in the movie ‘Aamar Ghor Aamar Behesht’ directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan, but her first released movie was ‘Coolie’ directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar.
It was released in 1997. She has acted in more than 150 films till now.
In recognition of her acting, Poppy has been awarded the National Film Award three times as Best Actress for the films ‘Megher Kole Rode’, ‘Ki Jaadu Karila’ and ‘Gangajatra’.
