Actress Sadika Parvin Popy has kept herself away from showbiz for a long time. Because of her withdrawal, several films such as Bhalobashar Projapoti and Kathgoray Sarat Chandra have been left unfinished. For a long time, filmmakers had no contact with her and claimed they faced financial losses due to her absence. Finally, Popy has apologized for those unfinished films.
Popy has been away from acting for more than five years. Recently, breaking her silence, she spoke about her incomplete films. In an interview with the media on September 10, her birthday, Popy said, “Not just two, I have a few more films that remain unfinished. I sincerely apologize for that. Because of me, the filmmakers are in trouble. But all decisions in life come from above. Even if one wants, many things cannot be done. Whether it happened unconsciously or due to circumstances, this gap in my career was created.”
Popy further said, “It was not intentional; unintentionally the work got stuck. I have never put anyone in trouble, nor have I ever caused anyone harm. I wish that, if I ever get the chance, I will complete those unfinished projects. If not, I have nothing to do but seek forgiveness. I hope they do not misunderstand me and that they forgive me.”
