Bangladesh Police is working to turn it into a smart police force by making itself suitable for Smart Bangladesh, said Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun on Tuesday.
“Bangladesh Police is upholding the law and order situation in the country by performing their duties with professionalism and dedication and the Prime Minister is working to build Bangladesh as a developed, prosperous, smart Bangladesh by 2041. So Bangladesh Police will be turned into a smart police by making it suitable for Smart Bangladesh,” he said, reports UNB.

The capability of police has increased following the increase of manpower, training and logistics, he said.
