Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said the police are now working at full capacity, following the July uprising.
The adviser made these remarks during his visit to the APBn headquarters in Uttara on Wednesday morning, where he attended a special meeting as chief guest.
He specifically highlighted the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), whose members are highly trained and are diligently fulfilling duties in VVIP security, international and domestic airports, Rohingya camps, the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and various mega projects.
He emphasized the importance of continuing their dedicated work for the country’s future.
During the session, APBn officers presented various issues, which the home affairs adviser listened to and provided direction for prompt implementation.
The Home Adviser visited the Crisis Response Team (CRT) and Canine Unit at the APBn Headquarters.
