The newly joined Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Barishal Range Manzoor Morshed Alam said the police system that existed in the past will be changed.
The coming days are the time to move forward. Give us some time and everything will be fine.
He also informed that out of 1595 puja mandops (worship places) in Barishal region , 492 are risk prone.
The new DIG said these in an exchange of views meeting with the media workers in the auditorium of Barishal Range DIG office on Saturday (September 21) noon at Ichhakathi area of Barishal city.
The DIG of Barishal also said that there is no chance of a case of absenteeism (Gayebi Mamla). So none will be unjustly harassed by the police. We don’t want to dwell on the past.
He said that police activities will be monitored through CCTV cameras.
