Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Thursday evening.
“The Prime Minister discussed different issues, including her recent visits to Azerbaijan , the UAE and India, with the President,” President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin said while briefing reporters after the meeting. The Prime Minister arrived at Bangabhaban around 7:15 pm.
On her arrival, she was received by Abdul Hamid with a bouquet. Sheikh Hasina apprised Abdul Hamid of the outcomes of her visits and handed over three reports in this regard, the Press Secretary said.
Joynal Abedin said, the President and the Prime Minister enquired about each other’s health.
Secretaries concerned to the President were present during the meeting, while Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Nojibur Rahman was also present.
