PM Gift homes for 50 Kishoreganj families

At least 50 homeless and landless houses are being provided in Kishoreganj in the fifth phase of the 2nd phase of the Ashrayon project. Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Kishoreganj, Md. AbulKalam Azad gave this information in a press conference held at the local Collectorate Conference room on Saturday.
DC AbulKalam Azad said that, a total number of allotted houses in the district is 2 thousand 840. The total number of houses inaugurated including the first phase of the first, second, third, fourth and fifth phases is 2 thousand 790. Out of the remaining 50 houses in the second phase of the fifth phase, 14 in Hossainpur, one in Nikliupazila, 20 in Bajitpur, 15 in Tarail and 160 single houses in Bhairab and 120 in Kuliarchar will be inaugurated next Tuesday by replacing the old dilapidated barrac.He also said that 13 upazilas of Kishoreganj have already been declared land and homeless upazilas.
The Prime Minister extended the duration of the ongoing Asharyan-II project till June 2025. According to the latest updated list, those upazilas which have already been declared landless and homeless, if there are any more landless-homeless families in those upazilas due to natural disasters or otherwise, they also be resettled as per the rules.
