Renowned photojournalists Azizur Rahim Peu, who died of cardiac arrest in the capital on Tuesday, was laid to eternal rest here on Friday.
He was buried at Nurpur graveyard in the city following two namaz-e-janazas-first one at the Public Library ground at 11:30am and the other at the Fire Service mosque after Juma prayers.
Earlier, the body of the deceased was kept at the Rangpur Press Club where people paid their last respects to the photojournalist.
Peu, photo editor of The Daily Observer, died of cardiac arrest at his Dhanmondi residence in the capital on Tuesday at the age of 54.
