Phoenix Ins okays 10pc cash dividend

Chairman of Phoenix Insurance Mohammed Shoeb presides over its 39th Annual General Meeting held through digital platform on Wednesday. The Company declared 10 per cent cash dividend to the shareholders for the year 2024.

The 39h Annual General Meeting of Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. was held on Wednesday through a digital platform in the capital. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Company Mohammed Shoeb. The Company also declared 10% Cash Dividend to the shareholders for the year 2024.

During the year 2024 the Company earned a total premium of Tk. 75.05 Crore and pre-tax profit of Tk. 6.95 Crore. Total asset of the Company in the year 2024 was Tk.216.16 Crore.

The Shareholders of the Company expressed their deep satisfaction over the performance and steady growth of the Company in the face of extremely adverse situation.

The Vice Chairman Manzoorul Haque, the Directors Mazharul Haque, Mohammed Haider Ali, Sadia Anjum Siddiqui, Dr. Sharmin Sultana, Fabiana Aziz, Javed Hosein, Iftakharul Islam, the Managing Director & CEO Md Rafiqur Rahman were also took part in the virtual meeting, says a press release.
