The Department of Physical Education and Sports Science (PESS) of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has organised its first National Conference on Harnessing Science for Health and Sporting Success, including the effective use of science to achieve success in health and sports and progress in various areas, including success in sports in the international arena.
On Monday, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of JUST organized a National Conference on “Harnessing Science for Health and Sporting Success” at the Central Gallery of JUST. Teachers and students from various universities and national sports organizations participated in the conference.
JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid was present as the chief guest at the conference.
In his speech, the Vice Chancellor of JUST said that students from many universities are staying under the same umbrella, which will enhance communication skills, knowledge exchange and the thinking power to create new innovations. Our goal is to make education timely and research fruitful. If we can make research fruitful, we will be able to easily face global challenges. Addressing the students, he further said, “You have to make changes in your daily life and develop yourself into a skilled workforce.
