Four teams moved into the semifinals of the Pepsi-DRU Cricket Tournament on Thursday. They are: Alokito Bangladesh, Jamuna TV, Channel 24 and The Daily Ittefaq.
In the day’s quarterfinal matches at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium, Alokito Bangladesh (78/1) defeated G TV (38/4) by 40 runs, Jamuna TV (81/1) overpowered Channel i (78/2) by four wickets, Channel 24 (69/3) edged past Inqilab (59/4) by 10 runs and The Daily Ittefaq (66/2) beat Bartaman (61/3) by five runs.
Today Alokito Bangladesh will face Channel 24 in the first semifinal at 9.30 am while The Daily Ittefaq will meet Jamuna TV in the second semifinal at 10.00 am at the same venue.
