Tollywood: People getting married beautifully, I can’t even have a love affair: Srilekha

Tollywood’s popular actress Srilekha Mitra has always been in the news for her frank comments about her personal life.

For a long time, she has been spending her life centred around her only daughter Oishee.

Although she has been in the news at various times about her personal relationships and experiences of being single, she has never decided to get married.

Srilekha once again made candid comments about her personal life in a post on her Facebook on Sunday.

There, she wrote, “People are getting married beautifully and I can’t even have a love affair. I’ve really grown old.”

She has been seen making similar statements about marriage and love before.

In an interview last year, Srilekha said that she has no plans for a second marriage, “I haven’t yet met someone who makes me feel like this is the person.

I don’t feel like living my life my own way anymore.” Highlighting the freedom of being alone, she added, “I can’t stand fighting over the TV remote, someone snoring next to me-all of this anymore. I love being with dogs. I live like a king with them.”

Srilekha has been the centre of discussion many times for her outspoken comments outside of her acting career, and criticism of the nepotism of Tollywood.

Recently, she has also been involved in directing along with acting. She started her journey by directing a short film titled ‘And the Roof’.
