Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain has emphasised on the strong implementation of a people-friendly administration in accelerating the state development at the Satkania Upazila Complex in Chattogram, according to a ministry release issued on Wednesday.
“Government officials play a crucial role in managing the administration. When the administration becomes people-oriented, the development of the state moves faster,” he said while addressing government officials and employees Dr. Khalid urged civil servants to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to public welfare, reports BSS.
“There is nothing nobler than serving the people. Government officials must look beyond their official boundaries and focus on ensuring the welfare of citizens,” he added.
Highlighting that officials are in direct contact with the public and are well aware of their concerns, hopes, and grievances, the Adviser stressed the need for implementing government initiatives in accordance with prevailing laws, regulations, and policies.
Calling government officials “servants of the people,” Dr. Khalid said they must be friendly, responsible, and compassionate in delivering public services.
Earlier, the adviser visited Satkania Police Station, Upazila Health Complex and the Upazila Administration Complex.
