A delegation led by Palestinian Ambassador Yousef SY Ramadan visited the Army Headquarters on Sunday for a courtesy meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman.
In addition to exchange of mutual greetings, the Army chief expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the ongoing violence and killings in Gaza and conveyed his hope for a prompt resolution to the prevailing crisis in Palestine, reports UNB.
The ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to Bangladesh for providing training opportunities to Palestinian cadets and military officers at Bangladesh Military Academy and other military training institutions.
