Controversial Pakistani religious figure Mufti Abdul Qavi has expressed his desire to marry Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
He recently appeared on a podcast and claimed that the actress will propose to him only after she divorces her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
Mufti Kavi said in the podcast that he is aware of the problems in Abhishek and Aishwarya’s marital life.
The podcast host asked, “How will he marry a non-Muslim?” To this, Kavi replied that Aishwarya will be converted to Islam and named ‘Ayesha’.
“A beautiful woman like Aishwarya Rai will write Ayesha Rai as her name. I would really enjoy seeing that.”
