Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, on Wednesday received National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam at the High Commission in Dhaka.
Islam was accompanied by Alauddin Mohammad, Joint Member Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the International Cell, and SM Suza Uddin, Joint Member Secretary and Member of the International Cell.
According to officials, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging views on potential avenues for cooperation and engagement.
While the High Commission did not disclose specific details, the interaction was described as cordial.
The NCP, a relatively new political platform in Bangladesh after the July uprising last year, has been trying to expand its outreach at home and abroad in recent years.
