Pagla Mosque, the historic mosque of the country has launched its own website. Through its information including the history, traditions, prayer times, and more of the mosque will be available. In addition, people from anywhere in the country and abroad will be able to send their donations to the mosque from their homes.
Deputy Commissioner (DC), also Joint Secretary Fauzia Khan formally inaugurates the website of Pagla Mosque (www.paglamosque.org) at mosque premises on Friday morning.
At that time, DC Fouzia Khan donated tk. 5,400 only to Pagla Mosque using the payment gateway bKash through the website.
ADC (General) Mizabe Rahmat, Acting SP Mukit Sarkar, Sadar UNO Ershad Miah, Jamaat district Ameer Professor Md. Ramjan Ali, Al-Jamiatul Emdadia Madrasa Principle Moulona Sabbir Ahmad, and others dignified persons were also present.
Maulana Ashraf Ali, the Khatib of Pagla Mosque, led the prayer at the opening ceremony.
Later, Pagla Mosque, one of the largest in the country from a religious perspective, receives a huge of donation every year. The cherty boxes is opened every three months.
