‘Our culture, shining examples of harmony’

Referring to Bangladesh as a country of communal harmony, Religious Advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, people of different religions, castes and communities have been living in peaceful coexistence here for ages.

Our culture, tradition and history bear shining examples of communal harmony.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Miladunnabi Mahfil organised by Bangladesh Ahlus Sunnat Wal Jamaat Chattagram at the premises of Andarkilla Shahi Jame Mosque in Chattagram on Monday (August 25).

Advisor said, Islam teaches peace, tolerance and humanity. Islamic parties in this country have always played an important role for the welfare of the country, the well-being of the people and the establishment of justice in society.

In the current context, it is very important to keep national unity intact and maintain communal harmony.
