On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, streaming platforms have stepped up with exciting contents and all lined up to release during the holidays.
This Eid, streaming platforms have taken another bold step with content, combining star power with stories that will keep on the edge of the seat.
Beloved stars such as Marzuk Russell, Tanjin Tisha, and Intekhab Dinar, will be taking over screens this time. Mosharraf Karim has also returned with a unique story in this year’s OTT lineup.
Bachelor Point Season 5
After more than two years, ‘Bachelor Point’ is finally making its return with season 5 just in time for Eid. The popular comedy series, known for its mix of laughter, drama, and everyday chaos, brings back familiar faces like Ziaul Hoque Polash, Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, and Monira Mithu.
Directed by Kajal Arefin Ome, the first eight episodes will premiere on Eid day while the rest will be released every Thursday at 7:00pm on the streaming platform.
Bohemian Ghora
Hoi Choi is releasing the much-discussed content ‘Bohemian Ghora’ for Eid, directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury.
The cast includes Mosharraf Karim, Runa Khan, Moushumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Tanzika Amin, Robena Reza Jui, Farhana Hamid, Aditi and Brishti.
The series is set to hit screens on June 5. The trailer teases a mysterious story of a truck driver named Abbas. Abbas is married to seven women across different districts, under unique circumstances for each case. For each wife, Abbas becomes a different person-and none of them know about the others. Only his truck helper, Selim, knows the full story.
Trouble begins after his eighth marriage when a storm of misfortune descends on Abbas’s life.
Hide and Seek
Deepto Play will release the web film ‘Hide and Seek’ this Eid, directed by Mahmudur Rahman Hime.
The cast includes Tanjin Tisha, Dighi, Chamak, Ziaul Roshan, Intekhab Dinar, Deepa Khandakar, and others.
The story begins on the night film star Imtiaz Khan announces his wedding when a young woman named Rasha has an accident. Some claim Rasha tried to commit suicide because she had a secret relationship with Imtiaz. When entertainment journalist Nadia starts probing the matter, she receives death threats.
Nadia soon realises that something bigger is unfolding behind the scenes. Each character around her is playing a game of hide and seek.
