Directed by National Film Award winner cinematographer and director Niaz Mahbub, popular actor Mosharraf Karim, talented actress Nazia Haque Orsha and popular TV actress of present generation Sharna Lata Debnath acted together in the same drama for the first time.
Title of the drama is ‘Tension’. Mansur Rahman Chanchal wrote story of the drama.
In the meantime, the shooting of the drama has been completed at various locations of Uttara in the capital.
Director Niaz said that the drama ‘Tension’ will soon hit the screens of Binge. Regarding talking about acting in the drama, actor Mosharraf Karim told this correspondent, “‘Tension’ is a drama with a good story, a completely different story. On average I have to work in many dramas. From that suddenly this story is completely different – in other words, getting involved with a person with unnecessary tension. For which he has no responsibility whatsoever.
But that gives falls on his own shoulder. The story of getting out of that is drama ‘Tension’.
I am very optimistic about the work. I have also done some work with Orsha. Every work that has been well received by the audience and no doubt
she is a good actress; that’s why everyone loves her acting. So this work with Orsha has also been quite good. This is my first time working with Sharna Lata. Sharna Lata is very good girl, very sincere. Already she is doing very well in acting. For an actress to survive in acting for
a long time, it gives me the urge to become an actress. So, my hope is that Sharna Lata will come to a position with her honesty and devotion. And I always want to do good work. Due to my busy schedule, I have not been able to do more than once. But we hope to work regularly from now on.”
Orsha shared her feelings by this way, “I acted in several
dramas together with Mosharraf Bhai including ‘Khayesh’, ‘Bonolotar Pyara’, ‘Seirokom Cha Khor’, ‘Swapno Bibhrat’, ‘Ghum’, etc. If you work with Mosharraf Bhai, you can always learn something. Working with him
is always more enjoyable for me. The story of ‘Tension’ is an exception, I like it.”
Sharna Lata said, “I never thought that I would ever get the opportunity to share the screen with Mosharraf Karim Bhai. Thanks to my dear Niaz Mahbub Bhai. Mosharraf Bhai can be said to be an institution in terms of work. Along with this job, I got to know a lot more about acting, I tried to enrich myself. Orsha Apu is also a very talented actress. I like her
performance very much.
I hope this drama will play a significant role in my career.”
Several years ago, Mosharraf Karim acted in a drama titled ‘Payer Niche Pichchhil Swargo’ directed by Niaz Mahbub.
Meanwhile, drama titled ‘Chilekothar Songsar’ starring Orsha was aired on
