An orientation program titled “Informing Existing Government Services at the Upazila Level” was held on Tuesday morning in the conference room of the Upazila Model Mosque in Kaunia, Rangpur.
The event was organized by Gram Bikash Kendra under the implementation of the Pathways to Prosperity for Extremely Poor People – European Union (PPEPP-EU) project, supported by the European Union and the Rural Development Support Foundation (PKSF).
Kaunia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Mohidul Haque attended the orientation as the chief guest. The session was presided over by Md. Aslam, Branch Manager of Baro-Yahat Gram Bikash Kendra, while Md. Asuduzzaman, Program Officer, delivered the welcome address.
Md. Ziaur Rahman, Technical Officer for Community Mobilization, presented the activities of the Prosperity Project. Sessions highlighting existing government services were conducted by: Md. Shamsuzzaman Azad, Upazila Youth Development Officer, Rebecca Yasmin, Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Md. Mejbahur Rahman, Upazila Project Implementation Officer and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Shorthand-Madakrikh-cum-Computer Operator, Social Service Department.
