The sixth Urban Dialogue on “Liveable City for All” organised jointly by Urban Ingo Forum and the Department of Disaster Science and Management of DU was held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban Auditorium of Dhaka University. State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Enamur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Saturday. While speaking Enamur said the government is working to build a planned city through implementing various development programmes. “We are working relentlessly to make Dhaka city liveable ensuring all civic amenities. Besides, the villages are being upgraded with the facilities of a town to reduce people’s tendency of moving to large cities.” he added.
