Bangabandhu Academy
A discussion on ‘Existing politics in the country’ organized by Bangabandhu Academy was held on Friday in the auditorium of the Institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh in the city’s Kakrail’. Awami League Advisory Council member Suranjit Sengupta was present as the chief guest. While speaking Suranjit said BNP has violated the electoral code of conduct in the recently held upazila elections by using Religion. Advisor of the Academy Chittaranjan Das presided over the discussion. It was addressed, among others, by City AL Vice- President Fayez Uddin Miah and Academy Advisor Ishtiaq Hossain .Suranjit said BNP leaders are criticizing the credibility of the upazaila elections at their organized press conferences after the polls, although they shamelessly used religion in the elections. He said BNP supported candidates were elected in many upazilas, which proved that fair election is possible under an elected government.
