The appreciation of Bangladeshi artistes beyond Bengal is increasing. This time Orchita Sporshia
is making her name in Tollywood.
She is starting her journey in Tollywood with Kazi Nazrul Islam’s biopic.
Kazi Nazrul Islam’s biopic will be made by Abdul Alim. He will sit in the seat of the director for the first time with this movie.
The movie is named ‘Kazi Nazrul Islam’. Various aspects of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s life will be presented in the movie; there will be known and unknown things.
Sporshia will be seen in the role of Nazrul Islam’s first wife Nargis.
Actress Sporshia has already had initial talks with the director.
When Sporshia was contacted about this new movie, it is known that she is currently in the United States.
According to her family, Sporshia had a verbal conversation with the director about Kazi Nazrul Islam’s movie.
The actress agreed to act in the movie in the initial talk. After returning from the United States will be final talk.
Kazi Nazrul Islam’s biopic is being produced by JB Productions.
Kinjal Nanda will play the role of Kazi Nazrul. This actor has already started preparing for this movie.
Regarding talking about playing the role of poet Nazrul, actor Kinjal Nanda told media, “Biopic will have the story of rise and fall of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s life. Preparation is going on mentally for this.
I have started reading some of his biographical books. I feel lucky that the director liked me in such a role. He gave me such a big responsibility, I am really grateful for that. Now, as the director says, I will prepare accordingly.”
Kazi Nazrul Islam’s second wife Pramila Devi has been offered to actress Ishaa Saha. Apart from this, Kharaj Mukherjee in the role of Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque, and Kanchana Moitra in the role of Birja Devi Sundari.
Meanwhile, Bangladeshi actor Fazlur Rahman Babu will be seen in the role of Ali Akbar Khan.
The screenplay of the movie is written by Sougata Basu. Joy Sarkar will be in charge of music direction. The shooting of the movie is supposed to start in the coming winter.
It is noted that Sporshia was last seen in Shafiqul Alam’s movie ‘Suswagatam’. She was criticised for not participating in the promotion of the movie at the time of release.
Later, the actress said that she did not participate in the promotion because she did not like the production of the movie. Nirab Hossain acted opposite Sporshia in the movie.
