Law enforcement agencies have arrested 1,308 miscreants across the country during the “Operation Devil Hunt.”
Police Headquarters AIG (Media and PR) Inamul Haque Sagar confirmed the matter on Sunday evening
Sources have reported that 1,308 individuals were arrested between Saturday night and Sunday noon. Among them, 274 were arrested in metropolitan areas, while 1,034 were detained in other regions.
Earlier, the interim government decided to launch “Operation Devil Hunt” across the country, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice.
The decision was taken at a joint meeting of law enforcement agencies at the home ministry on Saturday in the wake of the terrorist attack on students and the public in Gazipur on Friday night.
