Jamaat's Iftar for journos: ‘Only Jamaat can provide corruption-free country’
Staff Reporter :
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Naib-e-Ameer Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher believes that only Jamaat can gift a corruption-free country.
If the people give Jamaat-e-Islami a chance, then Jamaat-e-Islami will gift a happy and prosperous country to the people.
He said these as the chief guest at an Iftar Mahfil held at the Ladies Club at Eskaton in the capital on Thursday.
Former MP Dr. Taher said that Bangladesh has repeatedly lost its way due to the lack of honest, competent and efficient leadership. Jamaat-e-Islami has honest, competent and efficient
leadership.
An example of which is the former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Shaheed Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami and Secretary General Shaheed Ali Ahsan Mujahid.
The Ameer and Secretary of the party did not commit even a single penny of corruption despite serving as ministers in three ministries.
The party leaders and activists are not accused of corruption, terrorism, extortion. Only that party will be able to form a welfare and humane state that the nation expects.
If the people give Jamaat-e-Islami that opportunity, Jamaat-e-Islami will gift the nation a happy and prosperous country, he said.
Under the leadership of Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, member of the Central Working Committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South, and chaired by Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul, member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan South spoke at the meeting, among others.
