UNB, Dhaka :Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday night recovered illegal Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) equipment worth about Tk one crore from a house at Shekhertek in the city under Adabar Police Station and arrested one person in this connection.Contacted, Assistant Superintendent of Police Kamrul Hasan, operation officer of RAB-4, told UNB that acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-4 conducted a raid at a flat at Shekherek at around 4:00 pm.The elite force recovered a huge quantity of illegal VoIP equipment worth about Tk 1 crore from the flat and arrested one Linkon, 30, on charge of running illegal trade of the equipment, he added.
