Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain said, one cannot survive in the competitive world without education.
Therefore, he said changes have been made in the education system to establish a knowledge-based society.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the merit award distribution and children’s festival organized by Genius Bangladesh Foundation at the LGED auditorium in Chattogram city on Saturday (May 24).
Addressing the meritorious students, the Mayor said, if you rise above personal interests and take any initiative for the country and society, it is bound to be successful.
The field that Genius Bangladesh Foundation has created for students to practice their talents over the past 14 years is truly commendable.
The event, chaired by Saroj Ahmed, founder and director of Genius Bangladesh Foundation, was moderated by Ashiq Arefin and Bilkis Akhtar. Chattagram Press Club Member Secretary Zahidul Karim Kochi, Chattogram Metropolitan Journalists Union (CMUJ) President Md. Shah Nawaz, writer and researcher Principal Shimul Barua, history researcher and writer Jamal Uddin, Genius Advisor Muhammad Abu Syed CIP, Opela Group Chairman Lion Md.
