After a continuous nine-day holiday for the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous offices will reopen from Sunday, April 6.
The last working day for officials and employees in these offices was on March 27, with the official holiday starting the next day, March 28, and extending over a total of nine consecutive days.

A meeting of the Advisory Council on March 20 approved a proposal to declare April 3 as a public holiday in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, resulting in the extended break. The holiday started with the Eid observance on March 31, with the preceding weekend (March 29-30) and the following days (April 1-2) being declared public holidays. April 3 was also added to the list, creating a nine-day break.

With April 4 and 5 falling on a Friday and Saturday, the holiday period was effectively extended, allowing government employees to enjoy a full nine-day vacation.
Offices will resume operations on Sunday, after the extended break.
