All the government, semi-government and private offices including bank and financial institutions resumed today after the three-day Eid vacation and a two-day weekend.
Attendance at the City Bhaban, the offices of divisional commissioner and deputy commissioner, Rail Bhaban, water development board, sericulture building, RAKUB headquarters, RDA Bhaban, Barendra Bhaban, RMP headquarters and Roads and Highway building was thin as more than half of the officers and employees did not return yet from their native homes.
Sources concerned said the offices and courts will take their usual look from Sunday next, after the weekend.
However, some people were seen rushing to their respective offices to dispose of their pending urgent works on the opening day.
Meanwhile, a festive mood is prevailing at most of the offices.
