Office timings was changed after holy Eid-ul-Azha, in government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations from Wednesday.
According to the new timing schedule, the office time will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm after changing the long-standing scheduled timing for the offices.
A cabinet meeting was taken the decision in the first week of this month. Later, the public administration ministry issued a gazette notification on this regard.
As per the decision, the office time will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday. There will be a 30-minute break for lunch and Zuhr prayers and Friday and Saturday will be the weekend as like the previous schedule.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court, bank, insurance and other financial organisations will set their own office time.
Earlier the offices in the country were continued from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
However, the government set the time from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, slashing an hour from 15 November in 2022 for saving power and during the crisis of the energy was the phenomenon in the country.
