Office of JnUJA re-opens

The authority of Jagannath University (JnU) re-opened the office of Jagannath University Journalists’ Association (JnUJA) on Wednesday.
The activities of JnUJA remain suspended for more than four months due to an unpleasant incident that took place on the campus between the two factions of the JnUJA in August last year.
The decision was taken in an emergency meeting presided at by JnU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mijanur Rahman held in the conference room of the university administration building about 12:00pm with the participation of all the members of JnUJA’s both factions.
Besides, JnU Treasurer Professor Dr. Selim Bhuiyan, Acting Proctor Noor Mohammad, President of JnU Teachers Association Professor Dr Ali Noor, General Secretary Professor Dr Abul Hossain, and Professor Dr Ashraful Alam, president of Awami League backed Teachers Association were also present in the meeting among others.
