During his visit, Fauzul Kabir Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources in the interim government, issued a directive for all phases of the project to be completed with urgency. He emphasised the need to ensure that electricity generated from the nuclear power plant is supplied to the national grid without delay.

Mokabbir Hossain, Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Dr. Md Kamrul Huda, BPDB Chairman Engineer Rezaul Karim, PGCB Managing Director Abdur Rashid Khan, and NPCBL Managing Director and Rooppur Project Director Dr. Md Jahedul Hasan, along with other senior officials.
