Good governance and accountability should prevail in all affiliated colleges of National University (NU). This is a must and National University is working hard to establish good governance and ensure accountability in its affiliated colleges. To this end, steps are being made to show ‘zero tolerance’ against any irregularities including adopting unfair means in the examination. Vice-chancellor (VC) of NU ASM Amanullah said this while speaking as Chief Guest at silver jubilee function of Guthia Ideal Degree College in Ujirpur thana, Barisal.
“We are putting an end to the irregularities like opening Honours and Masters Courses everywhere.” said Dr. Amanullah. He said that measures have been taken to enhance and upgrade the existing syllabi to facilitate the outgoing students to better face challenges of the world. The NU VC said that the trade and vocational courses are being blended into main courses to ease students’ dependence on job market, according to press release.
