North South University (NSU), the leading private university in Bangladesh, successfully conducted its undergraduate admission test for the Spring 2026 semester on 29 November 2025 (Saturday).
More than seven thousand candidates appeared for the exam, aiming for admission into one of the four distinguished schools of the university: the School of Health and Life Sciences, the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Business and Economics.
Following a visit to the examination halls, NSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury addressed the gathered parents and guardians, expressing his sincere gratitude.
“Thank you for trusting us and choosing North South University for your next generation’s higher education. NSU is among the leading institutions in the country, offering world-class facilities,” he said.
“Through our innovative and experiential academic programs, we strive to prepare students for professional success and to contribute meaningfully to national development.
I am confident that our incoming students will uphold and further strengthen NSU’s proud legacy of excellence.”
Dr. Nurul Kabir, Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office of NSU, said, “NSU’s admission test is highly competitive.
As a result, some applicants will earn the opportunity to enroll, while many others will not.
Those who are not successful this time will have the opportunity to apply for admission to NSU again in the next semester.”
Also present at the event were Professor Abdur Rob Khan, Treasurer and Pro Vice-Chancellor (IC) of NSU; Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen, Registrar; NSU Proctor Dr. Abdul Khaleque; as well as Deans, Directors, and other senior officials from various departments.
The NSU Admissions Office has announced that the admission test results will be published shortly. Applicants are advised to check the official NSU website regularly for updates.
