Notundhora gets 1st ever NHA nod for pvt housing project

Notundhora Assets Ltd is the first housing company in the country to receive a recommendation for the acceptance of a private housing project from the National Housing Authority, in accordance with the Private Residential Land Development Rules.
In an exclusive interview with The New Nation, Dr. Md. Sadi-uz-Zaman, the Managing Director of Notundhora Assets Ltd and Notundhora Group said, this is an historic achievement not only for his company but also for the sector.
“This achievement is not only for Notundhora Assets Ltd, but also for the sector. All of the sector will be encouraged and motivated by this attainment,” said Sadi-uz-Zaman.
Notundhora Assets Limited received this exceptional recognition recently through the official approval letter signed by the Chairman of the National Housing Authority.
Notundhora is a company that has obtained Clearance from the Department of Environment, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval from the Department of Environment, approval from the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) and a Non-Encumbrance Certificate from the District Administration.
Furthermore, due to its significant contributions to government land development tax payments, the company has received special honorary recognition twice in a row from the concerned Upozila Revenue Committee, maintaining its top position.
Dr. Md. Sadi-uz-Zaman is a General Body (GB) member of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Co-Chairman, FBCCI Standing Committee on Land Developers. Sadi-uz-Zaman achieved PhD Degree from a University in Paris, France on real estate management as a first Bangladeshi. The University has uploaded Dr. Sadi-uz-Zaman’s special feature in its website which holds Bangladesh in an unparallel altitude.
Notundhora Assets Ltd is a certified company with all necessary departments and offices like environment and the Deputy Commissioners.
Praising almighty Allah, Dr. Sadi-uz-Zaman said, Notundhora Assets Ltd has contributed enough in the land development sector in the country.
He said that the future of the land development business in Dhaka depend on the proposed Details Area Plan (DAP) mostly.
The business men in housing sector think that it could not say that where the flat prices will be reached after implementing the DAP.
He also praised the consturction work of historic Padma Bridge saying it has brought a revoulutionary change in communications in the country.
“In order to gear up business activities in a country developing communication is a must. In this context, the Padma Bridge will bring the opportunities for the business people of rapid communications,” Dr. Sadi-uz-Zaman said.
Saying over the Notundhora housing project, the business icon said it has been constructed near the 300 feet Dhaka-Mawa expessway which is connected with the Padma Bridge. “The Notundhora is a wonderful and uncontender housing project for the new generation,” he said.
Notundhora housing project is situated 18 KM distance from the heart of Dhaka’s businesses, Motijheel area. It is under constructing project in three unions as of Hasara, Birtara and Keyain of the two of the Munshigoj upazilas of Sirajdikhan and Srinagar. The MD said that Notundhora achieved no objection certificates from the environment department and letter of appreciation from the upazila administrations for its unparallel goodwill.
“Besides, indemnity certificates from the district administration also proved its transparency. It also the lone trademark registered enterprise in housing sector which got the district administrations permits to purchase lands under land management manuel,” the MD described.
