The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday issued a notification introducing four changes in the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
The notification said the application fee for general candidates applying for the BCS has been reduced from Tk 700 to Tk 200. For candidates belonging to indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, and the third gender, the application fee has been lowered from Tk 100 to Tk 50.
The maximum age limit for applicants has been increased from 30 to 32 years. These decisions will come into effect from November 27 retrospectively, reads the notification.
