Entertainment Report :
Nazifa Tushi, who gained attention through the film Hawa directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon, is moving forward at a somewhat slower pace compared to others.
In a recent interview, Tushi said, “In my personal life, I take steps very thoughtfully and calmly. I don’t want to make any decisions hastily. The same applies to my career.
I don’t want to increase the number of projects just for the sake of it. If the audience doesn’t accept a project, doing it is of no use. Just like in my personal life, there’s no rush in my career. I never aimed to become a so-called heroine of Bangladeshi cinema.
I waited for good roles. From that perspective, I have taken risks in my career day by day and remained patient. The result of that patience is Hawa. I never knew that Hawa would come into my life.
I didn’t even know I would become an actor. All of this is the result of a ‘slow and steady’ approach.”
When asked why she didn’t want to become a heroine, Tushi replied, “I don’t see myself as a heroine; I consider myself an actress. Initially, I didn’t want to be recognized just for my glamour or beauty. Following this decision, I could have lost my way, but I had confidence that anyone who sincerely tries and works hard doesn’t fail. However, one must become significant because this is not a competitive race.”
