Aupee Karim is a popular actress in the country. She has carved a special place for herself in the hearts of viewers and listeners, not only through acting, but also through dancing and presenting.
Aupee Karim is not only known as a cultural figure. After graduating from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) with a degree in architecture, she also taught at a private university for a long time.
In a recent interview, Aupee Karim reminisced about her days at BUET during her academic career. She said that no one at the university paid him any attention.
Aupee Karim said, “No one from BUET paid any attention to me at all. The BUET bus would leave from the opposite side of our house. The bus would be filled with students before then. No one ever said to me, ‘Oh, Dad! Aupee Karim!’ Not at all. I had to walk standing most of the day.”
According to the actress, she would have received some respect if she had gone elsewhere, but the situation was the opposite in her own department at BUET.
She said, “In fact, if I had gone to another department or to a bank, some people would have shown a little care. But in my department, from my uncle to teachers, friends, seniors, juniors-no one has ever cared about me in my life.”
