Chairman of Juri Upazila Parishad Valiant Freedom Fighter M A Mued Faruq giving the prize to a winner of the day-long International Rating Chess Competition at Juri upazila in Moulvibazar district on Saturday. Chairman of Jaifarnagar Union Parishad Masum Reza took the initiative to arrange the chess meet. Moulvibazar Chess Players’ Association arranged the chess tournament. Joint-Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation Masudur Rahman Mallick, Vice-Chairman (Woman) of Juri Upazila Parishad Ranjita Sharma, Officer-in-Charge of Juri Police Station Sanjay Chakrabarty were present in the prize-giving ceremony. The winners of the chess tournament got handsome cash money as award.
